Asset Management Associate

Leon Industrial (“Leon”) is searching for an Asset Management Associate or Analyst to join its fast-growing industrial team in Dallas, Texas.The Associate will have the opportunity to impact the full business cycle of Leon’s industrial investments while maximizing the performance of the portfolio through operational excellence.The position will report to the Senior Vice President of Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

–Operations – work closely with third party property management to oversee property-level activities, capital projects, and annual budgeting process; diligence legal documents, leases, and financial reports in support of operational objectives; perform financial analysis related to investment performance, capital deployment, potential dispositions, and leasing opportunities; maintain and enhance internal reporting processes and systems,

–Leasing – work directly with tenants and brokers on leasing activity; analyze prospective leases to ensure they meet budget and are accretive to the individual investment and overall portfolio; coordinate lease documentation with counsel; provide regular leasing updates to senior staff,

–Investor Relations – assist with drafting quarterly reports, respond to investor inquiries and ad hoc information requests, work with internal teams engage and onboard prospective investors,

–Markets – maintain in-depth knowledge of local markets including market statistics and trends, sale and leasing activity, tenant demand and competitive inventory; maintain and expand brokerage relationships,

Qualifications

–Undergraduate degree, preferably with focus on real estate, finance, or accounting,

–Minimum 3-7 years of related experience,

–Thorough knowledge of real estate finance fundamentals including IRR, NPV, return waterfalls, etc.

–Advanced Excel skills as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills,

–ARGUS experience a plus,

–Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems while balancing multiple competing priorities,

–Self-starter with strong work ethic and highest degree of integrity,

–Ability to think like an owner and take personal responsibility for work product and decisions.
