Casey Carson serves as Construction Manager for Leon Capital Group’s self-storage platform. Casey is primarily responsible for managing the construction of new self-storage facilities throughout the United States. With sixteen years of experience with commercial project development, his areas of expertise include resource scheduling, cost analysis, project planning and execution, consultant management, procurement, contract negotiations, and business development.
Prior to joining Leon Capital Group, Mr. Carson served as Project Manager for Whole Foods Store Development. During his tenure he helped to open 7 new stores across a four-state territory, totaling more than $100 million in capital expenditure.
Before entering into retail development, Mr. Carson worked for Balfour Beatty Construction as a Project Manager, focusing primarily on the healthcare sector. Mr. Carson began his career in commercial construction as founding partner of a general contracting company, performing $34 million in government and public works contracts. As a LEED Accredited Professional and certified Project Management Professional, he has a strong commitment to continuing education.
Mr. Carson is a native to Austin and holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas.
