Liza Hogue has significant experience in diverse aspects of the commercial real estate industry. She began her career as a landman in Oklahoma and learned the basics of running title from the ground up. She moved to Texas and became a paralegal in 1988 and spent 11 years working for large Dallas law firms where she learned to review surveys and draft title objection letters. For the next 15 years, she negotiated the purchase of land to develop new restaurants for brands such as Bennigan’s, Steak and Ale and Applebee’s. Later, she worked building convenience stores for Sunoco and then as a site locator for the largest car wash company in the world. Today, she brings her talent to the retail acquisition team at Leon Capital Group, an investment company with a focus on real estate.
