Luke Peters serves as Vice President, Self-Storage Development for Leon Capital Group’s self-storage platform. Mr. Peters is primarily responsible for the pre-development activities of the self-storage group including due diligence, managing design consultants, entitlements, and permitting.
Prior to joining Leon Capital Group, Mr. Peters serviced as Vice President, Project Management at New Era Partners and was responsible for all aspects of the pre-development process including site selection, planning, due diligence, managing civil and architectural design, entitlements, permitting and general contractor selection and bidding.
Before joining New Era, Mr. Peters served as a Pre-Development/Project Manager for PCI|Heathdev a nationwide medical developer specializing in renal dialysis clinics, developing over 20 projects totaling over $50 million in development. In his role there, he was responsible for the entire development process from site selection and due diligence to design and permitting to construction management.
Mr. Peters also served as a Development Services Manager for Duke Realty where he was responsible for the project planning and due diligence efforts for Duke’s various product types across the South and West regions. Project experience included on and off campus medical, office and industrial developments and totaled over $400 million worth of ground up development.
Mr. Peters is a graduate of Colorado State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering. He is also a licensed professional engineer (inactive) in the state of Texas.
