Managing Director of Capital Markets

Brent Woods

Brent Woods serves as Managing Director of Capital Markets for Leon Capital Group where he is responsible for sourcing debt and equity across Leon Capital Group’s various investment platforms. Mr. Woods has successfully sourced over $2B in development and value-add investments with some of the nation’s top banking institutions along with various institutional equity partners that include private equity firms, discretionary funds, pension funds, foundations and family offices.    

Prior to joining Leon Capital Group, Mr. Woods served as Aspen Heights Partners Director of Capital Markets in which he was responsible for sourcing and structuring construction loans, joint venture equity and Co-GP investments across three investment platforms.  Those platforms included Purpose Built Student Housing, Multifamily and Build for Rent product. 

Prior to Aspen Heights Partners, Mr. Woods served as Vice President of Capital Markets at Harwood International, a multi-billion-dollar developer focused on Class AA Office, Hospitality and Condominiums in Dallas, TX. 

Mr. Woods has held other positions throughout his career at Bank of America, Citigroup and NorthMarq Capital where he gained experience in commercial real estate underwriting, asset management, leasing, acquisitions/dispositions and valuations.    

Mr. Woods received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
