John Walker

John Walker serves as an Associate for the Direct Investments division at Leon Capital Group. His responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and working with management teams to implement operational and growth strategies. Prior to joining Leon, John was a Corporate & Investment Banking Analyst at Truist Securities where he was involved in executing over 40 transactions with aggregate commitments exceeding $6 billion, to investment banking clients that span investment grade to sponsor owned, leveraged transactions primarily throughout the industrials industry. John graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor’s in Finance and a minor in Statistics. He has been involved with 2ndStaurday – Dallas and was a 2021 Dallas Finest Honoree. In his free time, John enjoys playing golf.
