Scott Birdsong

Scott joined Leon in October 2022 as the Senior Vice President of Industrial Asset Management.  Scott brings over 15 years’ experience to Leon across a wide range of disciplines including domestic and international investments, acquisitions, private equity, construction, and asset management.  Prior to Leon, Scott led the Dallas office of STAG Industrial where he also managed a ~15 million square foot portfolio of industrial assets in western U.S.  While at STAG, Scott was directly involved in underwriting ~1 billion in potential acquisitions and executed ~3 million square feet of new leases and renewals.  Prior to STAG, Scott was a Director at RSF Partners - a Dallas-based private equity firm - where he managed the firm’s ~2.5 million square foot commercial portfolio and served on the firm’s Investment and Management Committees.  Before RSF, Scott served as a Vice President at Hudson Advisors (the management arm of Lone Star Funds) and held roles at Hunt Realty Investments and Trammell Crow Company.  Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
