  • In 2017, Leon Capital Group acquired the former Dallas Independent School District Headquarters at the intersection of Ross Avenue & Washington Avenue with the intent of developing a 5-story, 366-unit wrap apartment project.
  • Leon Capital Group was able to negotiate a development plan that was supported by all stakeholders in the community including; all adjacent neighborhood associations, the Dallas Independent School District, Preservation Dallas, Dallas Landmark Commission, Dallas City Plan Commission & Dallas City Council.
  • The creative solution of incorporating a portion of the existing building, as well as elements of the previous architecture resulted in unanimous support by all stakeholders.
  • Construction is anticipated to commence in Q3 2018 with first units delivered in Q2 2020.
